Biography

London based milliner Gina Foster is synonymous with understated elegance and a good dose of wit that has seen her design hats for members of the Royal Family including The Duchess of Cambridge, and her socialite and media darling sister Pippa Middleton.

Having worked with fashion milliner Noel Stewart and society milliner Jess Collett, followed by legendary milliner Stephen Jones with whom she collaborated on Kylie’s Showgirl world tour. Gina Foster developed her own graceful, chic and more than a little quirky style and established Gina Foster Millinery in 2006. Gina opened her central London hat shop in 2010. Her trademark headwear ranges from statement hats and jaunty pillboxes inspired by Jackie Onassis, perfect for weddings or the races to modish headpieces or leopard print berets for cocktail parties and society events.

Gina Foster Chelsea Collection SS14

A headpiece from Gina Foster will guarantee a show stopping entrance whatever the occasion. She fashions traditional styles, including ’50s-esque headbands or stylish saucer discs, any of which may be trimmed with exotic feathers, oversized bows or delicate veiling and interprets them with a rainbow palette of colours like raspberry, ochre, crimson, turquoise and violet.

Gina Foster’s sophisticated and sculptural headwear has graced the pages of countless magazines including Grazia, Style, Brides, Easy Living, Stella and Vogue Russia. Tatler magazine recently featured four of Gina Foster’s hats in its best-dressed guest list at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
