Browse the CollectionBiography
Juliette Botterill’s handmade headpieces with a luxury finish have made her millinery brand the one to watch in 2015. The obvious elegance within Juliette’s headwear has caught the eye of HRH Princess Eugenie and Autumn Phillips – who regularly adorn her creations.
In 2006, Juliette began to develop her millinery skills with an MA in Fashion Design at Glasgow School of Art. After this, Juliette worked for world-renowned milliner Philip Treacy. In the six years of working for Philip – it wasn’t just the craft of hat making she honed, Juliette gained invaluable experience making hats for prestigious events such as the Royal Wedding in 2011 and Royal Ascot.
Of course being inspired by Philip Treacy and assisting him on creating headwear for clients such as; Alexander McQueen, Valentino and Givenchy, it was obvious that Juliette’s millinery would also have contemporary aspects, which creates an overall unique feel to her brand.
Since starting her own label, Juliette’s work has been in the spotlight, on the heads of Royal Ascot attendees and Royals. Recently an independent collaboration with couture fashion brand Ralph & Russo, gave the international fashion world something to talk about and they won’t be forgetting Juliette any time soon.
