Biography

The Season Hats is a millinery brand which was founded this year, with a mission to provide you with premium and accessible head-wear that feels modern without being influenced by current outlandish trends – these head-pieces will complement the wardrobe of a 21st century woman. Based in Wimbledon, The Season Hats is made up of a husband and wife team who met at Girton College in Cambridge University over 10 years ago.

One half of The Season Hats is Paul Stafford, he trained under Royal milliner Rachel Trevor-Morgan before completing his Masters in Womenswear, specialising in millinery, at the Royal College of Art. Paul has collaborated with a number of womenswear designers including Yiqing Yin, showing in Paris Couture Fashion Week and his fashion design work has been photographed for British Vogue, Dazed and Confused and CR Fashion Book.

The second half of The Season Hats is Selina Horshi, for the past eight years she has worked in advertising, firstly for The Times and then for The Economist. She is now using her experience to work with Paul in making sure, everyone knows what The Season Hats is.

With The Season Hats architectural approach, there is a focus on structure and material which results in an easy elegance to compliment a modern wardrobe. Traditional techniques are used alongside newer technologies such as laser cutting to provide a headpiece that can complete your outfit for a wedding, garden party or a day at the races; The Seasons Hats will be there for every occasion.
